Problem

Agents cannot modify existing dashboards (only create from scratch), cannot chain multi-step analytical workflows (e.g., "drill down into the anomaly in chart X"), and lack tools for common analyst tasks like data comparison, anomaly detection, or report generation. These depth gaps cause agents to fail or produce shallow results on the workflows that matter most to users, reducing retention. Expansion must be driven by observed usage data, not guesses, to avoid building tools nobody uses.
